The two-bedroom apartment had ample space with a dining table and kitchen essentials for self-catering. The layout was inviting and the comfortable bed offered a cozy retreat after a long day.
Noise from the tram terminal filled the building, especially with buskers on the street. There were also issues with requests for specific rooms not being fulfilled even when they were made well in advance.

Actually everything was fine, my next choice again in Christchurch. The venue was tidy and fairly large. The meals in the cafe were great. The service was efficient with parking under the building.

The spacious one-bedroom apartment provided a cozy retreat, with a well-equipped kitchen and adequate utensils. Despite the charming location, the lack of proper air conditioning was a notable inconvenience during my stay.

All the rooms are well-appointed with full kitchen and the staff are very amiable. They offer free tea, a lounge and a toaster.

The best part is the location, in the heart of the city and close to everything.

The kitchenette was well-stocked for quick meal prep.
I was appalled by the customer service experience. After requesting basic toiletries, I was treated like a nuisance, forced to scavenge from a storeroom. Adding insult to injury, a hairdryer was supposedly unavailable, leaving me to dry my hair with a towel! Perhaps the worst part was having to deal with a musty and damp smell from a leak in the kitchen. I felt completely uncomfortable .

Nice central location at a reasonable price. While the room we were offered fell far short of expectations (see below), when I complained, I did get an upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment for the second night.
We booked a studio, which I understand to consist of a largish room with a sleeping area and a separate kitchenette and sitting area. What we were offered was a small hotel bedroom. What purported to be the sitting area was a small table at the end of the bed and 2 very uncomfortable chairs. The "kitchenette" consisted of a small fridge in a cupboard, just like a hotel mini-bar. There was no sink - the only appliances were a kettle, which had to be filled from the bathroom sink and a microwave. This is not, in my book, a studio.

Fantastic location in the centre of the city, where every thing is happening and with the tram outside the door.

Location in centre of city and ease of access to airport.
Bathroom of minimum size with minimal bench space for personal items - common to many new accommodation locations

our stay at Quest Christchurch was a very pleasant one from start to finish. The staff on reception were very efficient and had us checked in and an upgrade from a one bed to a three bed given very quickly. The apartment was very clean and comfortable .

Can't recommend highly enough for a brief visit
Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, with convenient amenities such as free Wi-Fi and in-room breakfast setup made the stay enjoyable, and the easy access to public transport 9 km away made exploring the area effortless.
Everything was spot-on.

The friendly, easy going helpfulness of all staff. The perfectness (not sure if that is a word) of the location. The ease of the web site to book a room from within N.Z and from overseas.
We all found the rooms too warm and there was no a.c.

The location. the heaters in living area and bathroom.
Reported a flat tyre on car next to ours in car park, reception said they would inform owners, they didn't. These people were on the way to the airport when they discovered it. Fire doors constantly wedged open, two hangers only in wardrobe, when we requested more two only were brought so we had to request a few more-made to feel like we were being awkward! Lighting was also very poor everywhere, bright but bad for make up/shaving. Bathroom had absoutely no room to store keep anything in, only enough room for toothbrushes, although the bathroom was modern & the shower good and the tap was so stiff we could hardly use it.
